Things move so fast in cricket. It seems like yesterday when Yuvraj Singh smashed 6 sixes in a row to announce his thundering form in the Twenty20 world cup. He seemed unstoppable. Fast forward to the Australian tour. Jokes about his form are abound, with Yuvraj failing to impress in even one match. Such is the nature of Cricket.

But I’ll bet a lot of people are seriously worried about Yuvraj’s form. Preeti Zinta must be one of them, who partly owns the Mohali team. Yuvraj is the highest-paid player in the Mohali team (an “Icon” player, no less), earning a salary of over Rs 4 Crores. Yuvraj himself will be under a lot of pressure to perform. It’ll be easy for his detractors to question how an out-of-form player can demand such an exorbitant salary.

But all’s not well with Yuvraj either. Lots of speculation floating around his alleged breakup with the hot Deepika Padukone The media is having fun about it, with the Times of India reporting that Deepika ditched him for Ranbir Kapoor, and she broke up with him over the phone. Ouch!

“Beware of the injured Tiger”, they say, and it may well be the case with Yuvraj. Remember Andre Agassi, who bounced back from an abysmal form after getting divorced from Brooke Sheilds? Well, here’s hoping the Yuvraj can pull a similar comeback. Hey Yuvi, we’re all waiting for the fireworks, man!
