The low profile round-2 auction for the players took place on Tuesday in Mumbai. It lacked the gala of the first round but there a few sparks because some valuable fringe players. As expected members of U-19 world cup squad dominated the auction with fixed fees of 30000 USD.. Bangalore franchise which was criticized after round-1 that it had picked a test team and some people were speculating that the pitch in Chinnaswamy stadium will be dug up soon. But in round-2 the franchise seems to have done some intelligent choices. Jaipur team which was expected to bid for more players has opted for only a few players, looks like our speculation that they will be following low-cost model seems to be correct.

James Hopes: The man who gave Australia a hope of winning second CB series final was the hottest among the players for auction. He has been picked by Mohali team for USD 300,000. A single innings effort can a make a lot of difference, even if the match winning effort or not.
