IPL ad annoys Chennai Fans

The BCCI has been producing its own ads, and a new one released this week has caused a small uproar amongst the Chennai SuperKings fans. The ad, which shows a SuperKings fan getting it from a Kolkata lady, apparently hurts sentiments. The claim is that it potrays the south-indian looking nerdy guy in the ad in a stereotype - Of a meek shy dude who lets the vivacious north indian lady dominate him. I think its a bit of a stretch, but you judge for yourself.

    I guess these ads are actually made by SET rather than BCCI. I guess this is their way of promoting the game on their channel. Something like the Karmayudh ad.

    First of all, the name of the Team is Chennai Super Kings. and Second of all, I quite liked the AD and the gorgeous aunty. ;)

    Yeah, I agree that the ad is really funny :) Sorry about the SuperKings and SuperStars confusion. The ICL and IPL teams should not be named so similarly :)
