Delhi Daredevils beat Rajasthan Royals in a Tame Match

The Delhi DareDevils convincingly routed the Rajasthan Royals in the opening match for both teams at Delhi yesterday. The Rajasthan Royals had no answer to a very disciplined bowling attack, with the ever dependable McGrath taking 1 wicket for 21. I didn’t really expect the aging McGrath, who’s 38 years old, to do any fireworks. But I guess expereience counts for something!
The DareDevils didn’t take too long, losing only sehwag to get to the required 132. Gambhir and Dhawan both got 50s, which is probably a good sign. I’ve had my doubts about the Rajasthan Royals since the begining, and this match only confirmed my suspicions. Lets hope the Royals can do a better job next match!
