Jaipur Team fined for spending too little money

The Jaipur team, owned by the Emerging Media consortium, was fined by the BCCI today for spending too little money in the auctions. There was a requirement that all teams spend at least Rs 13.1 Crores, but the Jaipur team spent only Rs 11.8 Crores. Fined for spending too little money. That’s a new one.
